               14th Oct. Foundation of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Endocrinology 
               21st Oct. The first meeting of JSPE at Tokyo University 
               4th Dec. Approved as a member of the Japan Pediatric Society
              1968 
               The second meeting of JSPE in Hiroshima
              1972 
               The first election of the Society Council. Prof. Hisashi Yoshida (Tokyo
              Medical and Dental University) was
               elected as the first President.
              1981 
               Prof. Hironori Nakajima (Chiba University) was elected as the President.
              1984 
               Renamed as The Japanese Society for Pediatric Endocrinology
               Start of collaboration activity with LWPES (former name of PES) and ESPE
              1988 
               International Symposium on Pediatric Endocrinology (as an ICE Satellite
              Symposium) in Tokyo
              1989 
               Prof. Kiyohiko Kato (Yamanashi Medical College) was elected as the President.
              1992 
               Launch of the official journal ‘Clinical Pediatric Endocrinology’
              1993 
               Dr. Itsuro Hibi (National Children’s Hospital) was elected as the President.

               ISPAD Annual Conference at Atami, Shizuoka

               Prof. Hiroo Niimi (Chiba University) was elected as the President.

               Prof. Nobutake Matsuo (Keio University) was elected as the President.

               Prof. Yoshiki Seino (Okayama University) was elected as the President.

               Prof. Kenji Fujieda (Asahikawa Medical College) was elected as the President.

               President Fujieda passed away, and Dr. Susumu Yokoya (National Center
              for Child Health and 
               Development) succeeded the President position.
